(Repost from my other blog)
For real. No, I didn’t go under the knife…well the traditional way of doing liposuction because I don’t have the courage to do that. And yes, I am doing regular work, walking distances and I don’t need time to spend recovery at home.
How does i-Lipo work?
The i-Lipo emits low levels of laser energy creating a chemical signal in the fat cells, breaking down the stored triglycerides into free fatty acids and glycerol and releasing them through channels in the cell membranes. The fatty acids and glycerol are then transported around the body to the tissues that will use them during metabolism to create energy. This process of fatty acid release is a natural response of the body when the body needs to use stored energy reserves, thus i-Lipo is not creating any unnatural reaction in the body nor does it affect or damage any surrounding structures such as skin, blood vessels and peripheral nerves. Some post exercise will ensure the complete metabolism and thus elimination from the body of the freed fatty acids.
My appointment was at 10 in the morning so I took precautions of being early waking up, preparing the kids to school and bringing them there and I even asked my son’s teacher to let him stay for another hour in class in case I came late. (He doesn’t attend the remedial classes scheduled at 12 until 1pm.) Unfortunately, hubby asked me to deliver a package to Orange telecom (and I was hesitant because I don’t like this company but I’ll write about that another time.) Anyway, I was late so I called to apologize prior to being late hehe.
The friendly voice at the other end of the line said it’s ok since it’s my first time so off I went with the errand and hurriedly to the clinic. Schöner Körper (beautiful body) is located at the 4th district, about 40 minutes travel from our place. I got lost again and had I not remembered that hubby installed MAPS on my phone, I’ve been all the more late for my appointment.
.
So I finally found the clinic just across the Naschmarkt, my favorite spot in ths city to buy fresh salmon…ironically. Dr. Angelika was very friendly and she didn’t take offense about my being late nor my asking questions, both about the procedure and about life or as always when I am not sure, the German language. She offered me water and I readily accepted because I was walking much and really felt tired…
.
Long story short, I was there lying down (side photo courtesy of Schöner Körper), had my tummy rubbed, chemically marinated and plastic-wrapped. 😀 The procedure took 20 minutes, and it was done exactly how it was in the video. I had a good feeling about it…
.
The effect is of course not yet to be seen, I have to do it for 5 or more times, depending on how my body responds. And since I got another discounted price from the ever reliable I really hope this procedure would be effective. Since I started going to the gym again and have been doing some interval trainings at home, I really think I’ll pull this off. To lose at least 5 kilos in the process would be a great achievement. That way, I won’t need any diet pills, crash diet programs…instead, have an ideal weight I’d be comfortable with.

wow! interesting! i, too, would never have the courage to undergo surgery just to look good. i never wanted even my C-section, but that was necessary. anyway, this one sounds nice. hehe
