Just Another Skin-related post

Just when I thought I am free from the skin troubles that young adults face,I started having pimples again. I can't say that it is exactly adult acne but I'm not dropping the possibility. I am 30 and yet I feel like that time when I would be frustrated seeing one pimple pop up my face...that was 15 years ago! We all know that healthy eating and lots of water makes the skin healthy too. So why, even with my preference of eating fruits and healthy stuff, this still happened? I blame my not taking contraceptive pills anymore. This caused hormonal imbalance making pimples show up at my back and cheeks. I have been using a waterbased cleanser for the pimples, at the moment I do not see any ...

I-Lipo

(Repost from my other blog) For real. No, I didn't go under the knife...well the traditional way of doing liposuction because I don't have the courage to do that. And yes, I am doing regular work, walking distances and I don't need time to spend recovery at home. How does i-Lipo work? On Acne

Pimples, and a lot at that! You must be kidding! That was my initial reaction when I first had a breakout, that was 2 years ago..my stopping from taking in contraceptive pills triggered not just acne but weight gain as well. I've been through many different adult acne treatment even heeding advice from acne treatment reviews here and there, some recommended by those who experienced the same, some from what I read from online forums, then there's also the teraphy given by dermatologists and I even underwent facial treatment from a skin expert. None helped, and for a whole year, I had to face my ...

Infrared Sauna

When I was still a regular gym attendant, I' d see to it that I visit the infrared sauna room even for 30 minutes a day. Sitting there and idling could be the most vigorous activity I actually had all day. I sweat the most there than when I do some actual training. Outwardly one is relaxed, but the inner organs gets acive active like one is jogging. There are lots of healthy benefits we gain even from saunas ..it might not be too different from the traditional Finnish sauna. As a matter of fact, it is more comfortable. The oldest known medical document, the Ayurveda considered sweating so important to people's  health that it prescribed the sweat bath and thirteen other methods of inducing ...

Muscles

I'm determined to really lose them stubborn fats so I've been building up muscles....I learned that the best way to do that is to consume the right amount of protein especially after a workout. Consuming protein after a strength training workout is critical to muscle recovery and hydration and would help build muscle fast. I also read that because the body is in a state where it metabolizes the food digested quickly, protein rich foods are best digested at this time. My choices would be tuna and egg sans the yolk...and lots of water of course. Experts suggest whey protein, a mixture of globular proteins isolated from whey, the liquid material created as a by-product of cheese production; ...
